Ripe coffee cherries are first float separated to remove damaged and lower density beans. The higher quality cherries are then mechanically demucilaged and washed using a Recycling water system, then dried on raised beds to a precise moisture level. COOPEASSA R.L. provides an agricultural supply store, and Supermarket for Members. They also sell their roasted coffee throughout Costa Rica to benefit Members.
