We have seen this in use but not had a chance to play with it yet. The Free Roast Monitor software that works with it is awesome. If you can drill a small hole (7mm I think) in your roaster to mount the Thermocouple tip near your roasting beans without interfering with their movement, you can turn your roaster into a computer recorded Repeatable Profile coffee roaster. With the Heat Snob connected to your computer with the Free downloadable Roast Monitor software (pc) you can record heat and fan settings on a graph then adjust or repeat at will. Roast Monitor software direct from our friends at HeatSnob.

When you purchase a HeatSnob it comes with everything you will need.
The HeatSnob unit itself is housed in an extruded alloy case for durability and comes with a USB to Micro USB cable along with a high quality stainless steel thermocouple.
Designed for coffee roasting, it defaults to monitoring between 0 and 300 degrees Celsius over a 30 minute period but with editable preferences you can set this to work in all temperature ranges, over any time period and in Fahrenheit if you prefer.
