At one time Puerto Rico was one of the world's top coffee producing Origins, production has drastically diminished since that time. Today Puerto Rican Premium Specialty coffee is rarely found outside Puerto Rico. The Ciales Mountains have been producing premium coffee since the early 1800s, originally transplanted there from Ethiopia.
