Zimbabwe Smaldeel Estate Grade AA+ Fully Washed Arabica raw coffee beans for roasting

Zesty acidity, tea-like body, sweet,  peach, clean, definite lime, rhubarb, just hints of Caramel, floral and spice, short rich finish.  

Roasting Aroma: Sweet, licorice, kettlecorn

Dry Aroma: Baker's chocolate, cherry, caramel

Brewed Aroma: Caramel, cocoa, sweet, faint spice

Grower: Smaldeel Estate established by Dutch Settlers over a hundred years ago stands for "the narrow portion" in Dutch. Smaldeel Estate has been growing coffee since 1959 on about 200 Hectares on Mount Selinda. The Estate provides a Health Clinic and proper housing for it's Employees.

Region: Mount Selinda of the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, in the South East portion of Zimbabwe (formerly Lower Rhodesia) near the Countries' border with Mozambique which is located on the South Eastern Coast of the African Continent just above South Africa.

Soil: Sandy clay, loamy sand

Processing: Fully Washed and Sun dried on raised African beds

Average Annual Rainfall: 900 Millimeters

Grade: AA+
