Farm: Fazenda Dutra is a medium sized estate by Brazilian standards, includes 10 distinct farms, employs 600 seasonal workers to pick and process the coffee cherries by hand, has a school for Employees children on the Estate, and offers a health care program for Employees and their families.
Grower: The Dutra Family has been growing coffee for 50 years focusing on specialty grade (quality over quantity) fully traceable coffees. The family puts sustainability and protecting the environment into practice by using solar energy to power the depulpers and dedicating 750 acres to native untouched forest which helps reduce erosion.
