EL Salvador La Esperanza Fully Washed Bourbon SHG Arabica raw Coffee
Sweetly balanced acidity, medium body, caramel, tangerine, and honey notes, sweet, mild citrus, clean, just a hint of spice, soft clean finish.
Just received in new crop. The roast smells about the same but have cupped it only twice so the taste note may not exactly match. So far this lot is cupping very nicely, similar to the last note above with possibly a little more noticeable tangerine and very soft spice. I believe this lot is slightly better than the previous lot, which was pretty good as it was.

Strictly High Grown, SHG: Coffee grown at high Altitude produce a denser more vibrant flavor profile than those grown at lower Altitudes. Higher altitudes provide an Arabica Coffee friendly environment, the climate tends to be cooler with less direct sunshine and plenty of moisture. This causes the coffee fruit to mature slowly allowing more time to develop depth and sweetness, as well as many of the other desirable characteristics we look for in fine Specialty coffees.
