Producer: COOPAC an association of 2,200 small coffee Farmers founded by Emmanuel Rwakagara in 2001 to improve quality coffee production and sustainable income for it's Members. COOPAC includes an agroforestry program that provides shade trees to plant along with coffee trees, a Technical assistance program to incorporate Organic practices and quality improvement. The Coffee trees are grown organically among shade trees producing more desirable shade than is normal for many African coffees. COOPAC has been recognized since 2008 by the Rwanda Cup Of Excellence for it's consistent cup quality.
